AMID.cero9, 2010-2016 & MOS architectes, 2008-2016 (EL CROQUIS, Band 184)B, Broschiert
This installment of the magazine presents the work of two of the most outstanding contemporary architectural practices: the Spanish amid. cero9, and the North American M O S architects. In addition to presenting their projects and the most important works completed in recent years, it includes a conversation between both offices -an exploratory conversation, testing potential fields of common interest and the willingness to recover the practice of architecture as a knowledge tool rather than a professional, commercial or artistic practice - and two essays, written by the architects themselves, in which they reflect on their objectives and design methods. Among the featured works, the most remarkable ones are the Free Educational Institution by amid. cero9, the Artist's House, the School Krabbesholm, the Lali Gurans Orphanage, or the Studio and Apartment in Brooklyn, by M O S architects, together with some relevant projects and competitions by both offices.
