The Whistling Schoolboy is a blend of Arabica and Robusta with 20% chicory which makes it their version of the south Indian filter coffee (kaapi). This coffee is named after the Malabar Whistling Thrush - another example of the conservation and biodiversity efforts taken up by Black Baza Coffee Co. This bird is also known as the Whistling schoolboy as the whistling sound they make at dawn sound like it was made by a human. Black Baza Coffee label is one which ensures that their coffee is procured form farms that follow biodiversity friendly practices.
